The South Monmouth Community Alliance To Prevent Alcoholism And Drug Abuse provides substance abuse awareness,
education and prevention services to the residents of Southern Monmouth County. Our Grant provides funding for the Municipalities of Manasquan, Sea Girt, Spring Lake Heights and Brielle. We are made up of volunteers who are parents, teachers, police officers, business professionals, civic leaders, clergy, members of local government and other concerned citizens.
The South Monmouth Community Alliance is coordinated and networked through the Monmouth County Board of Alcoholism and Drug Abuse. Funding for the Alliance is provided by The Governor's Council on Alcoholism and Drug Abuse with fines collected from the Drug Enforcement Demand Reduction (DEDR) program, local municipalities and by donations from individuals and businesses.
Our offices are located in the Manasquan Recreation Building at 67 Atlantic Avenue, but most of our work is done in the community. We can be found in schools, churches, senior centers, community centers, libraries, community events and anywhere else the community has a need.
